Alexander Technique in Windsor, Berkshire with Alun Thomas (STAT)

Central London WC1 and
Windsor, Berkshire.

I teach at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Greenwich, where I am the Alexander Technique Coordinator,

at the Bloomsbury Alexander Centre in central London

and also in my home town, Windsor, at St.Agnes Fountain, St. Leonards Rd., Windsor (please see map)

I also teach children at the Sunningdale Prep School for boys in Berkshire.

I'm available for lessons, talks, workshops and consultations.

My own journey with the Alexander Technique started around twenty five years ago as a music student at the RNCM and I've been a teacher for about 12 years. During this time, all aspects of my life have seen quite a transformation - relationships, physical abilities and skills, including a huge change in my life as a performer - violinist and teacher. Constantly inspired by the possibilities that the Alexander work can help realise, I teach people involved in all sorts of activities: helping those with difficulties such as back pain, people seeking greater skill and poise professionally to those seeking an effective means of awakening the whole self. Lessons can become an important ingredient in leading a more skilful and conscious life......

Current pupils include a wide variety people from all walks of life, performers and also children.

Intensives

I also run intensive introductory weekends in Windsor throughout the year.
These provide an excellent way to learn about the technique
in a small group setting combining individual lessons with group work.
